Sandra Esquivel, MD, FACS

With more than 20 years of experience as a general surgeon in the Weslaco area, Sandra Esquivel, MD, has joined South Texas Health System Clinics. Dr. Esquivel, who is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and completed her general surgery residency in the same city at Parkland Memorial Hospital. She has expertise in general surgery with a particular interest in robotic surgery, having performed more than 700 robotic cases. Dr. Esquivel sees patients of all ages.
